Once, the Skullraisers Squad were noble knights, armored conquerors whose oaths spoke of duty, honor, and the defense of humanity’s future. They set foot upon a hostile world as an army of order, but decades of isolation, hunger, betrayal, and war devoured everything that still bound them to their former ideals. When contact with the flagship was lost and no order of rescue ever came, the knights began killing one another for power, resources, and the right to speak in the name of a dead order. Later, their former enemies joined them as well: savages of the ash wastes, surviving soldiers of broken armies, mutants, and killers who realized that amid radioactive dust, there was only one way to survive: become part of the slaughter.
